Send leads into Light AI from any channel, generate lighting mockups, and sync quotes and outcomes to your CRM with a REST API and signed webhooks.

Beta

The Light AI API, webhooks and MCP server are included on Pro and Enterprise. The API is still in beta: endpoints can still change, but breaking changes only ship in a new dated API version, listed in the changelog.

Light AI is the measuring, mockup and quoting app for Christmas and permanent lighting contractors. The API connects it to the rest of a contractor's stack: ad lead forms, CRMs, field-service tools and automation platforms.

What you can build#

  • Leads in. Every estimate request lands in Light AI as a lead and a project (listed under Quotes in the contractor's app), deduplicated across channels (Inbound leads).
  • Quotes and outcomes out. Published quotes with line items and totals, views, approvals, declines and expiries reach your CRM as webhooks or through the events feed.
  • Two-way sync. Record approvals made in another system with mark_approved and write your CRM ids back as external references.
  • Mockups. Generate lighting mockups for a project through the API, charged to the contractor's own credits (Mockups).

Access#

API access is included on Pro (Pro, Enterprise and Pro trials). Free and Plus have no API access: no keys, no test mode, no webhooks and no inbound sources.

There is nothing to request: every Pro and Enterprise organization can create keys in Settings → Developers.

Every page is available as Markdown: append .md to its URL (for example /quickstart.md). llms.txt indexes every page and llms-full.txt holds the whole site in one file. Use Copy page at the top of any page to paste it into your assistant.
