# Changelog

> Changes to the Light AI API and these docs, newest first.

API versions are dates. A key uses the version current when it was created; pin one per request with `Light-AI-Version`. Breaking changes only ship in a new version; additive changes (new fields, endpoints, event types) can appear at any time, so ignore fields you do not know.

## 2026-11-01

**First public version.**

- Leads, clients, projects, quotes, catalog, events and webhook endpoints.
- Inbound sources (header and URL mode, capture and map) and the native Google Ads lead form receiver.
- Signed webhooks (Standard Webhooks) with retries, delivery logs and replay.
- Partner accounts with connect links and grants.
- Mockup generation with Light AI Gen 3.0, charged in credits like the app.
- Website request forms (`/v1/forms`, `forms:read`, opt-in `forms:write`), the lead's `form`, `form_answers`, `mockup_status`, `preview_looks` and `assets` (each preview with its `look`), `GET /v1/leads?form_id=` and the `lead.mockup_ready` event.
- The `quote.change_requested` event: a homeowner used **Request a change** on a quote link (`data.change_request` holds their message).
- Test mode with homeowner simulation.
- An [MCP server](https://docs.light-ai.app/mcp) at `https://api.light-ai.app/mcp`: the API's operations as tools for Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and n8n AI agents.
