# Retrieve an event

> GET /v1/events/{event_id}: The object inside an event is rendered now (leads and clients show their current state; quote revisions never change).

`GET /v1/events/{event_id}`

The object inside an event is rendered now (leads and clients show their current state; quote revisions never change). events:read or one of leads:read, clients:read, projects:read or quotes:read works, as for List events.
